You need a trojan scanner. As well as an adware scanner, and firewall. Some virus scanners scan for spyware too, yet you should also have a spyware scanner for they aren’t perfect. Do use the pop-up blocking feature of Windows XP, Pack 2. If you don’t have XP, use google toolbar that can block pop-ups very effectively.
